had the opportunity to come to this location over the course of two concerts nearby. this isn't my favorite liberty location but it is far from average, both times i stopped by were after midnight and during the week, thankfully they were still open so i could have my TTC ride home killing shawarma. when i got here both time, no line up, i placed my order, and mistakenly got some sparkling water that was horrible and not recommended whatsoever. the service was quick and the staff were really polite, moving at a quick pace and even singing songs that they had going on the speakers, speaking of which, one nights selection was reggae and the next night was gangster rap, totally funny coming from this metal head. the quality of the wrap was really really good and boy is that garlic sauce THICK here, it almost looks like fluffy mashed potatoes. was a great meal after an outstanding concert. my only issue was that some burnt pieces of chicken were in my wrap the first night, but the second nights wrap was flawless.
be mindful of the green sauce, if its a fresh batch it has a wicked bite to it.
no parking directly at this location, but their is street parking nearby and alot of lots within walking distance.
transit options are the #63 ossington bus via king and then 504 A&B king streetcars as well.
great location and speedy service with great flavors :) -

Decent shawarma. I'm giving this place a 3 star because at times u can have a really good tasting shawarma and at other times it wouldn't taste as good. Got 2 shawarmas the other day, one of them was delicious and the other one had beef which was very hard and I literally had to throw pieces of meat out because of it.
Overall a decent place I would give this 5/10. -

I order ritual from here quite often (because who doesn't love perks with things they buy), and my orders are usually ready quickly and everything is fresh. Service is pretty basic and non-commital, and the food is good, but not amazing.
My one big pet peeve is that everything is essentially just thrown together. I'm not so crazy that I need all my food to not touch in a platter, but when everything tastes tahini, garlic sauce and hot sauce mixed together, I have an issue.
The wraps are probably the best thing to order here, and they come with fries and a soda if you get their daily specials!!!!! -

My biggest complaints with falafel sandwiches around this city are the same; the falafel are mushy and the sauces are bland. So, in my ongoing search for a good falafel sandwich, I came across Liberty Shawarma!
I ordered two small falafel sandwiches to go and got them all-dressed and spicy. The preparer was generous with his fresh-looking selection of colorful cabbage, green pickles, pickled radishes, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. He was also generous with the sauces! I got hummus, garlic sauce, tahini and a green hot sauce. The falafel balls were made to order and fried to golden brown perfection. They were crunchy on the outside and moist and flavourful on the inside. I happen to know because the preparer made an extra falafel ball and let me taste it!
The smell was so tantalizing that I took two bites of my sandwich while it was hot and fresh. Those two bites were SO good! The sauces were so flavourful! The falafel balls were the right balance of crunchy and soft! I wanted to keep eating but I was travelling for an hour, so I ate the rest when I got to my destination. Guess what?! The sandwich held up and was so yummy, even cold!
This just might be the best falafel sandwich I've had in Toronto. I plan to go back soon to eat a whole sandwich again, hot and fresh. And I will update my review again when I do! -

When I'm neck deep in online work and realize I'm famished, but want to keep it healthy-ish, I often turn to Liberty Shawarma. Tip of the tiny hat to Uber Eats for getting these middle eastern sandwiches to my door within 20 minutes.
My go-to orders are chicken or beef shawarma with extra tahini sauce and/or tabule salad and samosas. This food doesn't thrill me, but I like middle eastern and it beats Ali Baba's any day.
